Nata come evento finalizzato alla raccolta di fondi per la prevenzione del tumore al seno e la riabilitazione oncologica, Corri La Vita ha destinato i fondi raccolti nelledizione 2008 (oltre 255000 euro) al Ce.Ri.On.(Centro di Riabilitazione Oncologica di Firenze), allunità Senologica dellaziendaospedaliera di Careggi e alle attività di FILE, la Fondazione Italiana di Leniterapia che opera nel settore delle cure palliative.

CORRI LA VITA è un evento ideato per raccogliere fondi da destinare al nuovo Centro di Riabilitazione Oncologica di Firenze. Il focus è la riabilitazione fisica e psico-sociale delle donne operate di tumore al seno, svolto in una struttura pubblica con la collaborazione di una Associazione di volontariato. Anche questanno parte del ricavato sarà devoluta a FILE, Fondazione Italiana di Leniterapia, che promuove e finanzia la formazione di operatori e fornisce assistenza domiciliare gratuita ai malati oncologici.
